Texel Density

Texel density is the amount of resolution a mesh possesses. The higher the texel density, the higher the resolution and detail of a texture. On the other hand, the lower the texel density is, the lower the resolution and detail is. The size of the texture will affect the texel density, with it also being affected by mesh size, UV shell size and texture resolution.
