This is just a warm up task so we can pick out the 12 principles of animation.
Anticipation – at 22 seconds in, the boy wiggles his fingers before picking up a piece of watermelon. Shows the audience his action before he does it.
Overlapping action – at 24 seconds in, he turns his head after being told not to eat the seeds. While doing this, he also closes his mouth which had been left open. Makes his movements seem more natural.
Follow through – at 1:01 he has stems growing from his nose, which wiggle around as he moves his head and takes a second to stop after he has. Makes them seem more realistic and less static.
Arcs – at 2:19, he flies through the air in an arc, making him seem like a realistic character and makes his movements more believable.
